This shake is simply heaven! The cashews make it creamy while the frozen bananas act like ice cream to thicken. The dates give just the right amount of sweetness, and of course, I love cinnamon in everything. Add a pinch of nutmeg to make this eggnog-esque!
If you don’t have a high-speed blender, make sure to soak the dates and cashews in warm water for a few hours or overnight before blending.
1/4 cup raw cashews
1 cup water
a handful of ice
1 frozen banana
a splash of vanilla (maybe 1/2 teaspoon?)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 medjool dates (if you use the smaller deglet noor dates, I’d use 6)
Put everything into a high-speed blender and blend on high until creamy (about 30 seconds).
